Systems leadership has come to mean working beyond organisational boundaries to address issues of mutual concern. This raises questions that challenge many assumptions about how to address issues that are of interest beyond the individual. Particularly it raises questions about the nature of society, what we choose to do together and thus the role and function of public services.
